What DO state committee members do?
State Committee member is a leader in the Democratic Party of New York State. District Leaders are elected leaders of the Brooklyn Democratic Party. In Brooklyn, State Committee member and District Leader are combined into one role. On your ballot, it will say “state committee,” but typically people refer to the office-holders as “District Leaders”
